The first stop of our visit to Dubai was a desert adventure. Through the www.getyourguide.com site we found a great offer for a desert safari. The desert safari included driving on sand dunes in jeeps, sandboarding on sand dunes, and finally dinner with the Bedouins. I am a big fan of the desert, so it was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. Board a 4 × 4 so you can experience dune bashing and good music. This activity is perfect for adrenaline lovers; you will definitely feel the thrill when you’re in the jeep going up and down those dunes.
One activity that is also amazing is sandboarding. A popular desert activity. It’s fun to slide down the dunes on a board so you should definitely include this in your desert safari experience! Only problem with it, is that is really hard to get back up :D
While spending the morning and evening at the desert safari can be tiring from all the adrenaline activities, you can wind down and enjoy some delicious traditional food and an entertainment show.
Dinner with the Bedouins is a very special experience. The whole atmosphere is quite relaxed and the whole event is well done. There are a lot of food choices and they really make you feel like you are part of Arab culture. There is nothing better than trying the typical food from a different culture and getting to know more about the culture and traditions.
It was just what we needed. We felt great and much richer in every way. We started thinking what will be our next adventure in this jewel of the desert.
